LTE modem force roaming
Today i moved over from Windows to Ubuntu {YAAAY}
I do however seem to have a problem. To do my work I am constantly on the
internet and here in SA LTE modems are preferred over ADSL. now my problem
seems to be that in my area the signal is terrible on the 8ta network, but
it's not non-existent. It is terribly slow as a result. however, when i
was on Windows i used Mobile partner for my Huawei e353s-2 modem and as
such, i could forcibly choose to register my sim on the MTN network and
thus roam, with better access to the internet.
Here-in lies my dilemma!
Is there any way I could forcibly roam on another network as i did with
mobile partner in windows or is there an entirely different app i could
use?
Note: I even tried installing mobile partner Ubuntu hack using this method
to no avail:

please advise. I would appreciate any help I can get.
