My iPod touch 4g crashed and iTunes will not verify restore

My iPod touch 4g crashed and iTunes will not verify restore. The apple
logo will pop up and stay there until it dies. Ive already tried putting
it into recovery mode and DFU mode. Nothing is working. Every time I try
to restore the error 1601 or 1602 comes up. Troubleshooting is not
helping.
